Patrik is the son of Dennis John Bewley (founder of D.J. Bewley Funeral Directors). He joined the family firm in 1980 helping his Father in the day to day running of the business. In 1986 Patrik completed his National Diploma in funeral Directing and begun taking his own responsibility for arranging and carrying out funerals and looking after families. He married Cheryl in 1980 and has four children Ryan, Danielle, Cerise and Krystle. Patrik enjoys many interests from skiing, sailing, and gardening. He ensures the offices are kept up together by decorating the site with excellent floral displays of which has won awards from the local council. He concentrates on the operations within the business but primarily concentrates on assisting the families at need.
Cheryl is the Wife of Patrik and a partner in the firm. She became more involved in 1997 when Patrik’s Father sadly passed away. She is involved in the day to day running of the business and administers all the charitable donations in memory of loved ones. She also takes pride in seasonal dressing of the window displays of which has won awards in local town competitions. Cheryl enjoys travelling, gardening and looking after Grandchildren.
Ryan is the son of Patrik and Cheryl Bewley. He joined the family firm in 2003. Prior to this he studied Business at 6th Form College. Ryan looks after the accounts side of the business but also attends to the families at need and the day to day running of the business including pre-paid funeral planning and memorial administration. Ryan enjoys playing sport which consists of mostly football and spending time with his young family.
Krystle is the daughter of Patrik and Cheryl Bewley. She joined the business in 2011 Krystle’s main responsibilities include caring for the deceased, assisting with the donation administration and assisting with current funeral arrangements. Krystle enjoys playing netball, going to the cinema and socialising with friends.
Darren joined the business in 2013. Darren’s main duties include arranging and conducting funeral services. Darren is responsible for staff management and development. Darren has also established the Melksham Friendship Group which began in 2016 Darren’s interests include playing Badminton, eating out and travelling.
Jayne joined the business in 2017. Jayne assists with funeral arrangements and provides administrative support to the business. Jayne enjoys fell walking, family history research and looking after grandchildren.
